02 — Solution

A system that connects 3 of those stakeholders Farmers, Transporters & Transport Union Head

01

Reduce Efforts to find transport

Farmers can now easily find transporters without putting any effort of finding them, they can now contact transport union head direct to transport there goods from farm to mandi

02

Union head can manages transporters easily

One system allows union head to create profile, allot and manages the data of transporters no matter there are local or migrate from one place to another. This increases trust between transporters

03

Transporters can find jobs easily

Unlike transporters have to find jobs manually by waiting into market now it's easy for them to contact nearby union head of mandi and allows them to connect with farmers

Insights:

  1. People want there must be unified system that help all of them to connect together

  1. All of the stakeholders are comfortable in using digital applications with there local language

  1. Transporters who arrived from different states have not any facility, system, connections to interact with farmers

  2. There is no system for transporters to connect with transport union head

  3. Transport Union head faces problems in managing data of transporters

Research

Started to understand the challenges & gaps in current market

Approach

To understand the mindset, behavioural patterns of farmers, transporters and the situation behind this problem I followed these steps

Research & Planning

Visited farms, mandis to talk to people and understand the process and situation

Design & Prototyping

After 100+ ideations build screens with local language so that it is easy for all the stakeholders to use, connect and adapt

Development & Implementation

Implemented accessibility options as well as easy flow for less educated stakeholders

Testing & Optimization

Field testing helps me to get 'point of customer' and helps to understand the gain and pain points of all stakeholders

Finding Insights through Field Study
