Create Batch
Create customized batches for different villages and assign transporters to handle specific routes efficiently

Set route
Define optimal routes to nearby villages, reducing wasted travel and ensuring timely deliveries

Adding village
Select villages and view the list of registered farmers residing in each location

Adding farmers info
Capture essential farmer information—name, contact, quantity, and earnings—to share with transporters

Creating batch
Generate a comprehensive batch summary containing all farmer details, goods information, and route data for transporters

Accepting job
View route details and stop locations, allowing transporters to accept or decline jobs based on their availability

JOB BRIEF
Access complete information—total villages, farmers, quantity, and earnings—at a single glance

farmer's information
Connect directly with farmers through call or message to clarify queries upon reaching the location

Confirmation
Mark jobs as complete to confirm delivery and unlock access to new job

Tracking goods location
Track the real-time position of transporters to monitor goods movement from farm to market

updating details
Keep contact and location information current to ensure transporters can easily coordinate

02 — Solution
A system that connects 3 of those stakeholders Farmers, Transporters & Transport Union Head
01
Reduce Efforts to find transport
Farmers can now easily find transporters without putting any effort of finding them, they can now contact transport union head direct to transport there goods from farm to mandi
02
Union head can manages transporters easily
One system allows union head to create profile, allot and manages the data of transporters no matter there are local or migrate from one place to another. This increases trust between transporters
03
Transporters can find jobs easily
Unlike transporters have to find jobs manually by waiting into market now it's easy for them to contact nearby union head of mandi and allows them to connect with farmers

Insights:
People want there must be unified system that help all of them to connect together
All of the stakeholders are comfortable in using digital applications with there local language
Transporters who arrived from different states have not any facility, system, connections to interact with farmers
There is no system for transporters to connect with transport union head
Transport Union head faces problems in managing data of transporters
Research
Started to understand the challenges & gaps in current market
Approach
To understand the mindset, behavioural patterns of farmers, transporters and the situation behind this problem I followed these steps
Research & Planning
Visited farms, mandis to talk to people and understand the process and situation
Design & Prototyping
After 100+ ideations build screens with local language so that it is easy for all the stakeholders to use, connect and adapt
Development & Implementation
Implemented accessibility options as well as easy flow for less educated stakeholders
Testing & Optimization
Field testing helps me to get 'point of customer' and helps to understand the gain and pain points of all stakeholders
Finding Insights through Field Study
03 — Impact
It transform the agricultural transportation ecosystem—empowering farmers, streamlining logistics, and creating economic opportunities in rural India
Measured after prototype testing
-70%
Reduction in Crop Waste
-90%
Reduction in middlemen dependency
4.6/5
User confidence score
The biggest impact it creates that people are now be able to produce more crops with out worrying about loss of crops happened due to unavailability of transport

Problem Statement
Small farmers who are facing the problem of arranging transportation facility due to less availability of transport without increasing the financial burden?
Application for the Transport Union Head
Application for the Transporters
Application for Farmers
01 — Problem
Small farmers in rural India struggle with transportation
Rural India lacks reliable, affordable, and accessible transportation infrastructure. Farmers often rely on middlemen, pay high logistics costs, or watch their produce spoil before it reaches buyers
Farmers face unreliable transport options, leading to delays and crop wastage
Lack of real-time information about transport availability creates uncertainty
High logistics costs eat into already thin profit margins
